We want to accompany you wherever you are. In this 45-minute private and scheduled class you will be able to delve deeper into the topics that interest you most about specialty coffee.
We can help you with technical aspects such as espresso and filter parameters, milk emulsion and latte art technique, as well as sensory issues such as cupping and flavor analysis. If you have a coffee shop, we can also guide you in the creation of beverages, purchase of machinery, implementation of processes or training of your team. You decide the approach; we share our expertise to help you move forward with confidence.
Our trainers:
Ivette Vera: With more than 10 years of experience in the specialty coffee world, Ivette is one of the most respected professionals in the industry. She is a certified Q-Grader and currently holds the position of Head of Education & Quality Control at Nomad Coffee. Her deep understanding of coffee and her ability to pass on knowledge will allow you to achieve a more complete view of the coffee process, from sensory cupping to quality control in every cup. Ivette has worked with some of the best brands and has a unique approach to practical and theoretical training.
Andres Paparoni: With more than 10 years in the specialty coffee world, Andres is an Authorized SCA Trainer (AST) in the barista and brewing modules of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Coffee Skills Program. In his role as Academy Operations Manager & Trainer at Nomad Coffee, Andres has trained hundreds of baristas and coffee shops, perfecting techniques and processes to ensure an exceptional experience in every cup of coffee. His focus on customized training and extensive experience working with specialty coffees ensures that you can get comprehensive training tailored to your needs.
We are very proud to have two of the best people on our team, Ivette and Andres, who are very approachable and will help you solve all your doubts, we are sure of that!

Terms and Conditions
At The Coffee Academy we strive to offer a high quality learning experience to all our students. However, we reserve the right to reschedule the date of the course if we do not have the previous questionnaire provided by the student at least two days in advance.
We are committed to your satisfaction and will do our best to accommodate your needs and ensure that you get the maximum benefit from your experience with us.
This service is not designed nor should it be considered immediate technical assistance. If you have an urgent problem with your equipment (e.g. grinders, machines, etc.), we recommend that you contact the manufacturer's or distributor's technical support.
Please note that, once the purchase is made, the class is not provided immediately, but is scheduled within the available hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00 CEST) in coordination with our team.
Important
At The Coffee Academy we do not promise magical solutions, but we do promise honest, practical training guided by our team that will do everything possible to help you grow in the world of specialty coffee.
We are aware that we do not have all the answers but we promise that you will have them. In case we cannot solve any of your doubts at the moment, we promise to give you solutions in a short period of time.
We do not solve doubts about anything related to the roasting process.
Cancellation policy
Both your time and ours is important, here are the points of our cancellation policy.
- A 50% cancellation penalty will be charged if the course is cancelled less than one week or 48 hours before the course is scheduled to take place, refunding only half of the total cost of the course.
- No money will be refunded if the student does not attend the course or notifies us in less than 48 hours.
- Once the date has been set, no changes can be made, except in case of force majeure (illness or accident).
- If for any reason of force majeure (illness, accidents...) the student can not attend, we can reschedule the date, this change will be made only once, the money will not be refunded if the student does not show up.
- If you give any of our courses or workshops as a gift, this gift voucher will be valid for 12 months after the date of purchase.
- Our cancellation policy does not apply for illness or accidents.
