Jianit, aeropress champion 2019, represented us in the Aeropress world championship and a couple of weeks ago won second place in the barista championship organized by the BCN COFFEE AWARDS, tells us that the importance of competing is not to know but to throw yourself into discovering new things through barista competitions.
That is why we have designed this monographic course where Jianit will teach you all his techniques and strategies to prepare you optimally for an Aeropress competition, just as he did last year preparing a competitor who managed to get the first place in Catalonia. In this monographic he will come to tell us the secrets to become a good competitor!
What does the course include?
- Jianit will tell us about his experience at the World Cup: what were the challenges he faced and what impacted him most about those competitions at the national level.
- He will also explain the variables to take into account when making an aeropress recipe.
- We will practice with different variables that alter the preparation of a recipe, such as type of water, type of mill, type of filters, etc.
- At the end, Jianit will demonstrate some of his most relevant discoveries with the aeropress.
