Have you already taken the intermediate course and are looking to take your knowledge of filtered coffee preparation even further and be able to certify other baristas?
Students will delve deeper and more scientifically examine the essential elements of a good brew, what happens when brewing parameters are manipulated and how to master the navigation of the brewing control chart. Students will gain a deeper understanding of water and its impact on coffee brewing, specifically utilizing the ideals of target, measurement and treatment.
The most powerful tools a professional barista possesses is an analytical mind and the ability to process and manipulate a multitude of changing variables. These variables help the barista to understand the best way to interpret the information and then offer a solution or opinion that will improve the quality, service and delivery of the coffee for their customers.
