GUEST ROASTERS AT FRUTAS SELECTAS By FABRIZIO COLQUE

We welcomed POMA to Barcelona for the third edition of Guest Roasters. Jonas and Elliott shared their perspective on coffee through a presentation and cupping session at Frutas Selectas. We discussed their research work in Copenhagen alongside producers from various countries, and tasted some of the coffees resulting from these projects. The visit continued with a full POMA takeover at Frutas, featuring their coffees served as espresso and pour-over, along with many conversations about coffee production, cultivation, and the future of coffee. It was a visit that gave us insight into a different approach to researching, cultivating, and thinking about coffee.
