Espresso Workshop: Key Tools and Skills
We have structured a program where practice and theory come together to teach you how to handle every tool that makes up a good home espresso machine. You will learn about how to make a good choice of coffees, their different flavors and processes, up to the perfect calibration of the espresso machine, applying the techniques of a professional barista.

Perfecting espresso extraction
Coffee extraction is the heart of an espresso. We delve into every variable, from the machine, type of grinder and its Grinding, type of water and its temperature, so that you acquire the ability to extract those perfect flavor notes that will delight all your mornings.

The importance of consistency in the preparation
Finally, we place special emphasis on consistency. Maintaining quality in the preparation of coffee is what differentiates a home barista from the rest. With us, this commitment to excellence will be a habit that will guarantee success in every cup you prepare.

What does it include?

- Presentation of the basic tools to prepare an espresso.

- Variables of an extraction.

- Types of recipes and how to replicate them.

- Recipe test with 3 different origins.

- Tasting of 3 different espressos.

- Cleaning and care.

- Machinery you will use: Sage Barista Pro, Micra Line by La - Marzocco and Eureka E65, GS3 Line by La Marzocco and Mythos One by Victoria Arduino.

Terms and Conditions

At The Coffee Academy we strive to provide a high quality learning experience to all our students. However, we reserve the right to reschedule the course date or refund the full course fee if the minimum attendance does not exceed 4 attendees. We are committed to your satisfaction and will do our best to accommodate your needs and ensure that you get the maximum benefit from your experience with us.

Cancellation Policy

When you purchase a course your place is automatically reserved, if you do not attend you leave out other people who would have liked to participate, here are the points of our cancellation policy:

- A 50% penalty is charged if the course is cancelled less than 15 days or 48 h before the course takes place, returning only half of the total purchase of the course.

- No money will be refunded if the student does not attend the course or notifies us in less than 48 hours.

- Once the date has been set, no changes can be made, except in case of force majeure (illness or accident).

- If for any reason of force majeure (illness, accidents ...) the student can not attend, you can be assigned a place in the next course, this change will be made only once, the money will not be refunded if the student does not attend the course.

- If you give any of our courses or workshops as a gift, this gift voucher will be valid for 12 months after the date of purchase.

- Our cancellation policy does not apply in case of illness or accident.
