Beyond Coffee is a tasting experience with a different theme for each session.
Starting with a question, we’ll explore different ideas related to coffee to discover—through tasting—what actually happens and how we perceive it.
-Formulation of the hypothesis we’ll seek to test.
-Guided tasting designed specifically around the session’s theme.
-Comparison of the samples prepared for the experience.
-Individual observation and recording of sensations and perceived differences.
-Group discussion of the results and comparison of the group’s perceptions.
-Review of the initial hypothesis to determine whether it is confirmed, ruled out, or needs to be refined.
-Q&A session and final conclusions.

The Beyond Coffee experience takes place at our Roaster , located at Carrer Marroc 160, 08019 Barcelona.
It lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes and takes place from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Each session will have a different theme and will begin with a coffee-related question that we’ll explore through a guided tasting. Before booking, please check the name and description of the selected date, as the content of the experience will vary for each session.
No prior knowledge is required. The experience is open to everyone and is designed so that anyone can participate, compare their perceptions, and draw their own conclusions.
To avoid interfering with the tasting, we ask that you refrain from using perfumes, lotions, or other products with strong scents.

Terms and Conditions
At The Coffee Academy, we strive to offer a high-quality experience to all participants.
If, due to exceptional circumstances, we are unable to hold the experience on the scheduled date, we will offer you the option to attend on another available date or request a full refund.
Cancellation Policy
When you make a purchase, your spot is reserved for a specific date and experience. Therefore, we apply the following policy:
-If you notify us of a cancellation between 15 days and 48 hours prior to the experience, a 50% penalty will apply, and 50% of the total amount will be refunded.
-No refunds will be issued if you do not attend or if you notify us of a cancellation with less than 48 hours’ notice.
-Once a date has been selected, no changes can be made, except in cases of force majeure, such as illness or accident.
-In duly justified cases of force majeure, a spot will be offered on another available date. This change may only be made once. Please note that the new date may have a different theme and content.
-If you do not attend the newly selected date, the amount will not be refunded.
Clarification: Cancellation fees do not apply in justified cases of illness or accident. In these situations, you may reschedule your participation according to the conditions indicated above.
Punctuality
We ask that you arrive on time. We will allow a 5-minute grace period. If you arrive more than 15 minutes after the start time, you will not be admitted, out of respect for the other participants and to ensure the smooth running of the tasting.

- Once the date has been set, no changes can be made, except in cases of force majeure (illness or accident).
- If, due to circumstances beyond our control (illness, accidents, etc.), a student is unable to attend, the date may be rescheduled. This change may be made only once; no refund will be issued if the student does not show up.
- Our cancellation policy does not apply to illnesses or accidents.
