The Relevance of Intermediate Training for Coffee Houses
In our commitment to excellence in the coffee industry, we understand that coffee shop management training and the role of the professional barista are vital to the growth and dynamics of the sector. For this reason, our intermediate training is much more than a simple barista course; it is a fundamental step in the development of skills for coffee shops that want to stand out in the industry.

This training is focused on deepening the technique of making a perfect espresso, understanding the origin of the bean and how this affects its preparation.

In this course we give the barista the necessary tools to be able to be autonomous behind the bar.

The intermediate barista training we provide also covers in-depth knowledge of coffee chemistry and how various factors, such as grind calibration and water temperature, directly influence the quality of the final beverage.

In addition, our teaching techniques integrate the latest in coffee techniques, ensuring that learning is current, applicable and highly specialized. Upon completion, the barista will be able to offer an unforgettable taste experience, which undoubtedly raises the standard of any coffee establishment.

What does it include?

- Explanation of the differences between origins, varieties and processes.

- Tasting of 4 coffees with different processes

- Structure of a good extraction

- Elaboration of recipes with different origins

- Sensory analysis of an espresso

At The Coffee Academy, we strive to offer a high quality learning experience to all our students. Two weeks prior to the course, you will receive a confirmation email. If the minimum of three attendees is not reached, the course will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued.

We are committed to your satisfaction and will do our best to adapt to your needs and ensure that you get the maximum benefit from your experience with us.

The Coffee Academy is not responsible for the approval of the Q Grader program, but we guarantee that you will be trained by the best professionals to help you achieve it.

Cancellation policy

When you purchase a course your place is automatically reserved, if you do not attend you leave out other people who would have liked to participate, here are the points of our cancellation policy:

- A 50% penalty is charged if the course is cancelled less than 15 days or 48 h before the course takes place, returning only half of the total purchase of the course.

- No money will be refunded if the student does not attend the course or notifies us in less than 48 hours.

- Once the date has been set, no changes can be made, except in case of force majeure (illness or accident).

- If for any reason of force majeure (illness, accidents ...) the student can not attend, you can be assigned a place in the next course, this change will be made only once, the money will not be refunded if the student does not attend the course.

- If you give any of our courses or workshops as a gift, this gift voucher will be valid for 12 months after the date of purchase.

- Our cancellation policy does not apply in case of illness or accident.
