Finca Hartmann is one of Panama’s pioneering estates, cultivated by the same family for more than 80 years. Their approach combines tradition with precision, drawing on generations of knowledge while embracing practices that protect the biodiversity of the cloud forest. The result is a Geisha that speaks with clarity of both place and heritage.

Life at finca Hartmann is shaped by family and tradition. Afternoons once brought four generations together at 3pm to share coffee and speak about the day, a ritual now carried into the fifth generation. Mornings begin simply, with a filtered brew enjoyed in the stillness of the forest, where fresh air and birdsong set the rhythm for work and life. 

Harvested in 2025 at 1,900 meters in the cool mist of Chiriquí, the cherries are depulped and fermented for one to two days before drying. They pre-dry for 10–15 days on African beds, then finish with more than two weeks in a dark room, a slow curve designed to lock in balance and longevity.
